The package of documents on Ukraine’s Association Agreement with the EU, which has not yet been ratified by the Verkhovna Rada, is currently at the Foreign Ministry.
Deputy Head of Ukraine’s Presidential Administration Valeriy Chaly said this at a briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“In fact, the package is at the Foreign Ministry. We will expect it in the Presidential Administration, and after respective procedures it will be tabled in parliament,” he said.
He said that there were no problems with the schedule for ratification of the agreement. “Tomorrow, at an extraordinary session, the parliament is expected to consider the ratification of an agreement with Australia on ensuring the security of an expert mission. For us it’s not less important than strategic documents that can actually wait for a while,” Chaly said.
He said that a national implementation program was additionally being prepared along with the association deal and that it would be tabled in parliament as a separate bill.
