Ukrainian troops repulsed a massive assault on their position in the area of ??the Donetsk airport and survived during the subsequent fire of the enemy artillery.
Head of the Center of Military and Political Studies and head of the Information Resistance group Dmytro Tymchuk wrote on the results of this battle on Facebook.
“The assault was repulsed. Following that, the terrorists shelled the airport twice from the artillery and mortars,” the report says.
The expert also said that the assault began on Friday at 19.00.
As reported, a large fire started at the airport as a result of the terrorists’ shelling.
