The 67th day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to the russian military invasion continues, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russian enemy continues to wage full-scale armed aggression and offensive operations against Ukraine in the Eastern Operational Zone.
The command of the armed forces russian federation is continuing to increase the speed of the offensive operation. Rail transports weapons and military equipment from the Western, Central and Eastern Military Districts, and the Northern Fleet to the border with Ukraine are used to move weapons and military equipment.
The russian enemy didn’t take any active actions in the Volyn or Polissya directions. These areas have not seen any significant changes.
Certain units of Armed Forces of Belarus continue to protect the border in Brest, Gomel and other regions.
The enemy may launch missile strikes against civilian and military infrastructure in Ukraine from the territory o the republic of belarus. Provocations by the enemy are also possible on the designated section of the state frontier of Ukraine.
The Siversky direction saw russian enemies firing on our troops from the Bryansk region.
The russian enemy continues to attack Kharkiv with air strikes and artillery firing in the Slobozhansky area. Occupants are conducting offensive operations in Izium-Barvinkove and Izium-Slovyansk. The enemy’s strike force continues to grow. Around 300 weapons and military gear were transferred to specific areas. Approximately a thousand people mobilized arrived from Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts, temporarily occupied territories.
To cover the advancing air force in four areas, the enemy deployed two anti-aircraft ballistic missile divisions armed to Tor-M (SA-15 ‘Gauntlet”) and Buk-M2 (“SA-17 “Grizzly”) to destroy them.
Groups of russian troops are active along the entire line of contact, in the Donetsk-Tavriya directions. The enemy is trying air strike and artillery fire at our troops.
The enemy of Russia is moving in the Lyman direction towards Krymka, Oleksandrivka in Mykolaiv Oblast, Ukraine.
The Popasna direction is where russian occupiers are conducting assault operations in the direction Novotoshkivske-Orikhove. They are also fixed on the border. They are blocking certain areas in order to stop the movement of Ukrainian forces and means.
The russian enemy is trying, using artillery support, to penetrate the defenses of our units heading towards Olenivka – Novomykhailivka.
The enemy is fighting in the South Buh direction to get the administrative boundaries of the Kherson Oblast and create favorable conditions that will allow them to attack the cities of Mykolayiv or Kryvyi Rih.
The air defense units had hit nine targets the day before: two Su-25 aircraft, seven UAVs and one Su-25.
Nine enemy attacks were stopped in Donetsk, Luhansk, and Luhansk oblasts. Eight tanks, one artillery, and one special vehicle have been destroyed. Twenty-four armored combat vehicles have been destroyed.
