“Putin will be stopped by the Ukrainian army, sanctions and negotiations!” She said.
The Minister clarified that Ukraine would not be able to cope on its own: solidarity between European countries and the United States was needed. Very strong sanctions were needed, including an oil and gas embargo.
“Putin must be stopped economically. The stronger the international isolation and embargo, the sooner he will sit down at the negotiating table,” Vereshchuk said.
