“Ukraine’s conflict could be prolonged, and the country needs international support to counter Russian aggression. That’s why the government has decided to hand over the Mistral air defense system to Ukraine.”
The Minister stressed that the Mistral MANPADS is an effective weapon used in the Navy, which would be very useful in the fight against the enemy.
“Now the government is donating about 100 Mistral air defense missiles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The weapons are already being sent to Ukraine.”
