The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte on January 3, 2023. Mark Rutte assured that the Netherlands would do everything possible to help Ukraine not only to defend itself but also win the war.

“Ukraine has held its own against Russia’s barbaric invasion for almost a year now. The months ahead are crucial. I just spoke to President Volodymyr Zelesnkyy and assured him that the Netherlands will do everything it can to help Ukraine not only defend itself, but also win the war,” tweeted Mark Rutte.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelesnkyy also noted about his conversation with the Dutch Prime Minister.
“I had a phone call with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte. Spoke about the risk of escalation at the front and potential challenges, as well as our defense needs for an adequate response. We count on concrete steps by our partners to maximize the reinforcement of Ukraine at the next Ramstein,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram.
The Netherlands has already provided Ukraine with military aid worth almost 1 billion euros.
In 2023, the Netherlands will allocate 2.5 billion euros to support Ukraine.
