More than 2,000 Ukrainian educational institutions have been damaged by Russian troops

Head of the Department of Organizational Analytical Support and Operational Response of the National Police of Ukraine said on September 2, 2022, that the police initiated 21,600 cases of violations of the laws and customs of war. In particular, 2,328 educational institutions have been damaged since the beginning of the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

“2,328 educational institutions have been damaged due to Russian shelling and bombing, of which 289 have been destroyed since the beginning of the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.”

It should be noted that almost 700,000 students and over 25,000 educators have been displaced since the outbreak of  Russia’s war against Ukraine.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, more than half of educational institutions in Ukraine are ready for the school year in full-time form.
