More than 17,000 people are without heating due to Russian missile attack on Zaporizhzhia

Oleksandr Starukh, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration noted that a series of loud explosions rang out in Zaporizhzhia (south of Ukraine) on the evening of November 18, 2022. As a result, 123 high-rise buildings, where more than 17 thousand subscribers live, remained without heating.

“The Russian army launched a missile attack on Zaporizhzhia. An object of industrial infrastructure was damaged. Rescuers are working at the scene,” reported the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

5 missile “arrivals” were recorded.

Anatoliy Kurtev, secretary of the Zaporizhzhzia City Council said that half of one of the city’s districts was left without heat supply due to the Russian missile attack.

According to Oleksandr Starukh, the Russian attack damaged the central heating pipelines.

“123 high-rise buildings, where more than 17 thousand subscribers live, remained without heating. Heat has already been returned to 60 houses, and relevant works are ongoing,” the head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration emphasized.

In addition, one person was killed due to Russian missile attack on Zaporizhzhia.
