Moldova will receive about € 700 million to help Ukrainian refugees. This decision was made by a donors’ conference held on April 5 in Berlin.
About three dozen countries took part in this conference. They agreed to provide Moldova with € 695 million in budget support and loans and other forms of financial assistance.
It is noted that this money can be used to help refugees from Ukraine and for Moldovan citizens who help refugees.
More than 360,000 Ukrainian citizens have come to Moldova since the beginning of the war. More than 90,000 of them remained in the country.
