Merkel to meet with Yatseniuk after Orthodox Christmas

German Chancellor Angela Merkel will meet with Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk this week.
German government spokesman Steffen Seibert said this on Monday, according to a statement posted on the chancellor’s website.
Merkel plans to meet with Yatseniuk at noon on Thursday, January 8.
The main topic of their talks will be bilateral cooperation, foreign and European policy, as well as the situation in Ukraine and its relations with Russia.
