Agricultural producers are holding a meeting near the Verkhovna Rada walls requesting not to adopt the law No. 4309 on amendments to the Tax Code on abolishment of benefits for agricultural products.
As reported by Ukrinform, activists are holding the posters “To vote for 4309 – to change the Ukrainian village,” “There is no village – there is no state,” “Rada, do not allow unemployment of peasants,” “Abolishment of state support to the village – a terrorist attack against Ukraine.”
“People’s representatives will consider the law No. 4309 today, which provides for the abolition of benefits for farmers, agricultural products. Actually, just agricultural production is a source of rural incomes. This will lead to a reduction in jobs. We are against raising taxes,” Chairman of the Public Council of the Chornobaivsky district Tetyana Bohdan said in an interview to the agency.
