Meeting in Minsk begins

The meeting of the Contact Group on the peaceful settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine has begun in Minsk.
The participants gathered at the Dipserviskholl Reception House of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.
The Special Representative of the Chairperson-in-Office of the OSCE, Ambassador Heidi Tagliavini, representative of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma, and representative of the Russian Federation, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Ukraine, Mikhail Zurabov participate in the negotiations.
The meeting is also attended by representatives of the self-proclaimed DPR (Donetsk People’s Republic) and LPR (Luhansk People’s Republic) Denis Pushilin and Vladislav Deinego.
