“Mariupol is the European Aleppo. A city destroyed to the root. With thousands of civilian deaths. We will do everything possible so that this war ends as soon as possible. And for this, we will continue to help Ukraine.”
“War in Ukraine transforms global geopolitics.”
Uaposition memo: Aleppo is a city in Syria, where Russian bombs fell on hospitals, schools, markets, and on the queues of civilians standing for bread. The Russians kept the city under siege, causing the civilians to starve. Agreeing on humanitarian corridors, Russia fired on people trying to evacuate.
