The Minister of Defense of Lithuania noted on September 14, 2022, that urgent repair of Ukrainian armored vehicles was agreed upon, and Lithuania, together with other countries, organized and supported the training of the Ukrainian military.

Lithuania’s total military aid to Ukraine is about EUR200 million.
According to the Minister, M113 armored personnel carriers were previously sent to Ukraine, and Ukrainians already use 50 Lithuanian armored vehicles. In total, Kyiv received more than 300 units of such military equipment from Western countries.
The Minister also noted that Lithuanian enterprises received orders for sewing winter clothes for Ukrainian soldiers.
“A decision has been made to order winter clothing requested by the Ukrainians from Lithuanian companies,” the Defense Minister added.
Lithuania has also agreed to repair Ukrainian military equipment and train the Ukrainian military.
“We will have trained at least 500 military specialists by the end of the year.”
