The United States fully supports Poroshenko’s Peace Plan and realizes that overcoming the pro-Russian terrorists will benefit the whole world and not only Ukraine, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin wrote this on his Twitter page.
“America has a full understanding that a victory over the pro-Russian terrorists in Ukraine will be a victory of not one country, but the whole world,” he wrote.
The Ukrainian foreign policy chief also noted that the U.S. Congress, including the Senate, representatives of both the Democratic and Republican parties “fully support Ukraine and Poroshenko’s Peace Plan.”
During his visit to the U.S. Klimkin met with U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, senator from the Republican Party, John McCain, former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and IMF chief Christine Lagarde.
Klimkin’s visit to the United States will continue until Wednesday.
