A column of Russian “humanitarian convoy” entered Ukraine, without asking for permission of the Ukrainian side and without representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Ukrainian mass media inform.
It is noted that trucks started movement independently, without a consent of the Ukrainian side and crossed the border at the checkpoint of Izvaryno, which is controlled by terrorists.
The Red Cross representatives have not received the security guarantees and do not accompany the column, as it was planned, the organization’s page on Twitter reads.
“The Russian humanitarian convoy moved to Ukraine, but we do not accompany it due to the unstable situation,” a statement reads.
Eyewitnesses say that up to 20 trucks crossed the border, accompanied by militants.
