Government forces clearing Ilovaisk of snipers

Ukrainian troops are continuing to clear the town of Ilovaisk of terrorists, and the fighting does not stop.
An adviser to the Ukrainian interior minister, Zorian Shkiriak, said this at a briefing on Tuesday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“Ukrainian military are actively clearing Ilovaisk of militants. They are working out the administrative part of the town with high-rise buildings, where sniper teams may stay,” Shkiriak said.
He said that militants had tried to send reinforcements to Ilovaisk: “Our military have not allowed terrorists to get reinforcements and killed a great number of Oplot militants.”
