The Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia said on December 21, 2022, that the Georgian government sent humanitarian cargo to Ukraine to help with the electricity shortage, which includes 25 generators with a capacity of 150 to 500 kilowatts with a total cost of more than 560,000 dollars.

The generators transferred from Georgia are of industrial use. They can be used to ensure uninterrupted operation of hospitals, thermal power plants, and pumping units for the supply of drinking water and other vital objects.
The ceremony of loading the generators were attended by Andrey Kasyanov, the Temporarily Representative of the Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia, and the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Romeo Mikautadze.
The Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia expressed its gratitude for the humanitarian aid of the Georgian government and personally to Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Levan Davitashvili, and all involved employees of the executive authorities of Georgia.
“Thanks to the help and support of our friends and allies, including from fraternal Georgia, we will win this battle with the world evil – Russian fascism,” the diplomatic mission of Ukraine in Georgia said.
