“The foreign ministers of the Group of Seven industrialized nations are set to hold an online meeting on Thursday to discuss how to deal with Russia’s prolonged aggression against Ukraine,” the Japanese government noted.
It is expected that the foreign ministers of Great Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the USA, as well as the European Union, will exchange views on the development of recent events in Ukraine.
“The top diplomats are also likely to confirm their collaboration on support for the nation, which was invaded by Russia in late February,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan said.
Following the results of the G7 virtual summit on December 12, 2022, the countries of the Group of Seven declared that they would continue to provide Ukraine with the support it needs to protect itself from Russian aggression.
