“They [Foreign Ministers of France and Great Britain – ed.] underlined their determination to provide Ukraine with the political, military, humanitarian and economic support it needs to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity and to improve its resilience during the winter period and beyond. They deplored the international effects of Russia’s actions and stressed their willingness to mitigate the consequences for the most vulnerable,” noted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France.
Ministers also agreed to coordinate preparations for future international conferences about civil resistance and recovery, and reiterated their commitment to fighting impunity.
“On Iran, they condemned Iran’s violent crackdown on legitimate peaceful protests and Iran’s support for Russia’s illegal war in Ukraine, including through drones used to indiscriminately target civilians and civilian infrastructure,” added the French Foreign Ministry.
