The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed on February 13, 2023, that instructors of the Finnish Army joined the training of Ukrainian servicemen. In Great Britain, Finnish instructors are conducting shooting training classes for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Instructors of the Armed Forces of Finland have been delivering training to practice methods of applying fire from different positions, grouping and bore sighting and zeroing at ranges for servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who are undergoing training in Great Britain as part of an international training operation for basic military training,” explained the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The basic combined military training in Great Britain was launched by the government of this country in 2022. It is part of the UK’s ongoing commitment of more than £2.3 billion in support to Ukraine.
Earlier, the President of Ukraine discussed with the British Prime Minister the training of Ukrainian tankers.
