A European Union mission on visa-free regime with Ukraine will arrive in Kyiv on February 4. It was announced at a meeting of the Council of reforms under the President of Ukraine by Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk on Monday.
“The mission is to analyze the implementation of all of the stages of the visa-free regime. We expect that Ukraine will receive not only a positive signal, but it will receive the same legal regime for visa-free travel of Ukrainians to member states of the European Union that European citizens have today in Ukraine,” Yatseniuk said.
As it is expected the mission of the EU is going to check the performance of Ukraine’s obligations regarding action plan on visa liberalization for setting up a visa-free regime with Ukraine in May 2015.
