Brussels is considering the possibility of recognizing the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic” (DPR) and “Luhansk People’s Republic” (LPR) as terrorist, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin wrote on his Facebook page.
“They came to a bad end,” – a popular belief in Brussels. The EU is seriously studying the issue of declaring the DPR and LPR as terrorist organizations,” the diplomat said.
At the same time, he said that the EU fully supports the Ukrainian President regarding the “ceasefire to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine, not freezing the conflict.”
“Accordingly, the requirements of the EU to Russia: stop the flow of weapons and fighters across the border. They also urge them to pull their troops back from the border with Ukraine,” the diplomat noted.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin on July 22-23 is visiting Brussels.
