Elon Musk is blamed for supporting Russia to force Ukrainians for Russia’s pseudo-referendums

The world’s richest person Elon Musk offered several suggestions on Twitter on October 3, 2022, for solving the conflict in Ukraine and asked his followers to vote on his proposals, which included officially allowing Russia to annex Crimea. Ukrainian authorities immediately responded to Elon’s Musk proposals.

Elon Musk demonstrated his “peace” plan in Ukraine. He called for the referendums, which Russia held in occupied Ukrainian territories – to be redone under UN supervision:

“Ukraine-Russia Peace:

– Redo elections of annexed regions under UN supervision. Russia leaves if that is will of the people.

– Crimea formally part of Russia, as it has been since 1783 (until Khrushchev’s mistake).

– Water supply to Crimea assured.

– Ukraine remains neutral.”

Ukraine’s ambassador to Germany responded to Elon Musk following his proposals.

“The only outcome ist [is – ed.] that now no Ukrainian will EVER buy your f…ing tesla crap. So good luck to you,” Ambassador Andrij Melnyk wrote.

Elon Musk then added: “This is highly likely to be the outcome in the end – just a question of how many die before then. Also worth noting that a possible, albeit unlikely, outcome from this conflict is nuclear war.”

Elon Musk also created a Twitter poll in which citizens of the occupied parts of eastern Ukraine annexed recently by Russia, as well as Crimea in 2014, were asked to choose whether they would prefer to live in Russia or in Ukraine. This survey is being conducted while the US, Europe, and Ukraine denounce President Vladimir Putin’s decision to annex four regions of Ukraine and make them part of Russia.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to him by posting his own Twitter poll asking his followers to decide whether they preferred an Elon Musk who supports Ukraine or Russia.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine also responded to Elon Musk’s tweets.

“Those who propose Ukraine to give up on its people and land — presumably not to hurt Putin’s bruised ego or to save Ukraine from suffering — must stop using word “peace” as an euphemism to “let Russians murder and rape thousands more innocent Ukrainians, and grab more land.”

It should be noted that Elon Musk was previously a popular figure among Ukrainian leaders, after his Starlink network of Internet satellites helped keep the country connected during the war.
