Donbas battalion commander Semon Semenchenko has sustained fragmentation wounds in the battle for the town of Ilovaisk in Donetsk region.
Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov reported this on his Facebook page.
“The advance attack team that clears Ilovaisk of terrorists came under mortar fire. The attack was not stopped. One of our soldiers was killed, and four were wounded. Semen was also wounded. He sustained numerous fragmentation wounds,” the minister wrote.
He added that all those wounded had been transported from the battlefield to hospitals and that their lives were not in danger.
