“Ukrainians, you are space. We bought a satellite. It’s not just one satellite. It gives us access to a database of satellite images of the ICEYE company, and this access was purchased more than a year in advance. From now, our army will receive high-quality satellite images as quickly as possible, which will help us with operational planning of operations. There will be a lot of “noise”.
According to Serhiy Prytula, today ICEYE has the most advanced technology of radar satellite imaging. This agreement is a serious step in providing the critical needs of the Ukrainian government for surveillance data and essential assistance to our Armed Forces.
“With this agreement, ICEYE further builds on its efforts to provide objective data and technological support to Ukraine. We firmly believe SAR technology and its capabilities will continue to add significant value to the Government of Ukraine, now enabled by the work of the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation”, says Rafal Modrzewski, CEO of ICEYE.
Uaposition memo: ICEYE owns the world’s largest constellation of SAR satellites and provides reliable and proven solutions in the field of Earth observation. Unlike traditional Earth observation satellites, ICEYE’s small radar imaging satellites can form high-precision images of areas of the Earth in daylight, at night, and through clouds.
