According to the British Minister, the first of the helicopters has already been delivered to Ukraine. Ukrainian crews were trained in Great Britain on flights and the maintenance of helicopters during the last six weeks.
Ukrainian troops will be able to conduct search and rescue operations with the help of Sea King helicopters.
Ben Wallace added that Ukraine would also receive 10,000 artillery shells to defend the newly liberated territories.
The head of the British Ministry of Defence emphasized that support for Ukraine would remain unwavering.
The Sea King aircraft was previously used by both the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy. The last helicopter was decommissioned by the Navy in 2018.
