The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office noted on February 15, 2023, that employees of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office continue to identify Ukrainian civilians killed as a result of Russian aggression.

“Since the beginning of February of this year, prosecutors together with investigators and experts have exhumed 8 corpses of victims who died as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the liberated territory of Beryslav district,” informed the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
In total, 94 bodies of Ukrainian civilians who were killed by Russian shelling, in particular, shot by Russian soldiers or died from other criminal actions of representatives of the aggressor country were exhumed in the liberated territory of the Kherson region.
“Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, measures are being taken to identify the victims of the Russian criminal actions and the circumstances of their death,” added the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
