“The common goal of President Biden, Congress and the Administration (as evidenced by recent aid packages) is Ukraine’s winning in the war. As President Biden said yesterday, “Standing by Ukraine in its hour of need is not just the right thing to do. It is in our vital national interests to ensure a peaceful and stable Europe and to make it clear that might does not make right’,” the Ambassador said.”
She stressed that not only the United States, but other countries must help Ukraine achieve this victory.
“President Biden has said that we would help Ukraine as much as necessary. That is what we will do,” Brink said.
The US embassy will work to ensure that US humanitarian assistance gets to those who need it.
“Our unwavering position in all of these goals is that Ukraine should decide its future. And at the right moment we will help Ukraine rebuild,” the diplomat said.
