Soldiers of the Donbas Battalion never stopped fighting for Ilovaisk.
The press service of the National Guard of Ukraine told Ukrinform.
“We officially deny information posted on the website of the Donbas Battalion on the termination of combat missions by the unit in Ilovaisk,” the press service informs.
The National Guard of Ukraine said that soldiers of the battalion continue to participate in battles for the liberation of the city, “heroically repel counter attacks of terrorists and carry out the offensive.”
According to the press service, currently, the ATO forces liberated more than half of Ilovaisk.
As reported, over Tuesday night, information was posted on the website of the Donbas Battalion that soldiers of the division suffered heavy losses and left the battlefield near Ilovaisk.
