The fiercest battles are taking place in Donbas. Over the past day, shelling and combat clashes in the Donetsk region have resulted in the deaths and injuries of civilians on both sides of the front line.
Mykolaiv Oblast is subjected to daily shelling and airstrikes. According to humanitarian organizations, in July alone, the Mykolaiv region experienced 184 attacks by Russian troops, as a result of which more than twenty people died and another 80 were injured, not taking into account the damage and destruction of infrastructure facilities.
According to Farhan Haq, the humanitarian situation has become critical and continues to deteriorate.
“The UN and the organization’s humanitarian partners have not been able to enter the region since the beginning of June. According to reports from local authorities, access to water and sanitation services, as well as to medical care, is extremely limited,” the UN representative emphasized.
