Oleksiy Hromov, the Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted on January 12, 2023, that the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit more than 300 Russian targets since January 5, 2023.

“Since January 5, 2023, artillery units have damaged more than 300 Russian objects. During the reporting period, 54 targets of Russian troops were hit by means of high-precision weapons of the missile forces, and 21 air targets were destroyed by the forces and means of the aviation and anti-aircraft missile forces, the Air Force and air defense of Ukraine,” explained the Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to Oleksiy Hromov, the situation at the front remains tense and only courage allows the Ukrainian military to hold their positions.
In addition, the Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 113,990 Russian soldiers from February 24, 2022, to January 12, 2023.
