“Unfortunately, Russia continues its missile attacks on the civilian critical infrastructure of Ukraine, fighting against the civilian population and depriving them of light, water supply, heat and communication during the winter. Russia fired about 100 missiles at Ukrainian cities on November 15, 2022. Almost half of the energy system of Ukraine is out of order,” explained Denys Shmyhal.
According to Ukraine’s Prime Minister, Ukraine needs additional support from European partners, both in the field of energy, supply of additional equipment, and additional financial resources for the purchase of additional volumes of gas and also for greater support of the energy sector following Russian missile attacks.
Russia has been massively attacking Ukrainian energy and other civilian infrastructure with missiles and drones since October 10, 2022.
