Almost 65,000 Ukrainian businesses operate under Russian occupation.
“Almost 65,000 Ukrainian businesses operate in the temporarily occupied territories. This is about 5% of the total number of existing legal entities in Ukraine,” the report says.
It is noted that with the beginning of a full-scale war on the territory of Ukraine, entrepreneurs were forced not only to completely review their everyday business processes but also to change their places of registration in order to start all over again.
“If the business remains in the territory with the following statuses: “temporarily occupied”, “surrounded (blockade)”, “in which active hostilities are ongoing”, then certain tax restrictions may be applied to it.”
Currently, it is not mandatory to move the business to safer regions of Ukraine, this decision is taken by each owner at his discretion.
