Minister for Communities and Territories Development in Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov states that as a result of the war in Ukraine almost 6.8 thousand houses have been destroyed or damaged.

“Approximately 6,800 homes were destroyed or damaged in Ukraine as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today, we need tens of billions of dollars for the first period to restore basic infrastructure we need to do immediately after the war,” Chernyshov said.
The Minister believes that the funds for the development and reconstruction of cities and agglomerations will need to be measured in hundreds of billions of dollars.
