A total of 29 wounded Ukrainian servicemen accompanied by family members arrived on a special medical train in the Polish city of Krakow.

15 wounded servicemen were taken to hospitals in Krakow and the surrounding area. The remaining 14 will be treated in the city of Katowice.
According to Polish officials, military personnel have typical combat injuries: gunshot wounds, injuries from bomb blasts, mines and rockets. They require further surgical treatment, but their lives are not in danger.
“Together with the services, we organized action of receiving and handing over the wounded soldiers and their caretakers at the Krakow railway station. A total of 14 ambulances transported war victims to selected hospitals in Lesser Poland Voivodeship. We provided their guardians with support, help and care!”
“There are soldiers here in different conditions: from those who are in a serious condition but have already been examined, to those who are in a lighter condition but need rehabilitation. The soldiers will be sent to various hospitals in Lesser Poland Voivodeship.”
