“Another step towards ensuring full accountability for international crimes. Signed the Agreement on the Establishment of the Field Office of the International Criminal Court in Ukraine with ICC Registrar Peter Lewis,” Andriy Kostin noted on Twitter.

Andriy Kostin emphasized that it is an honor for him to start this new part of cooperation.

“This is just a start, a strong start. And I’m convinced we will not stop until all the perpetrators of international crimes committed against Ukraine are brought to justice. This includes the highest political and military leadership of the Russian criminal regime,” tweeted the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

Andriy Kostin added that Ukraine looks forward to further cooperation in investigating and prosecuting Russia’s atrocities against Ukraine.

“We are very grateful for the cooperation, support and assistance we have received from the Government of Ukraine and look forward to strengthening our cooperation in the future,” ICC Registrar Peter Lewis said.
