Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Chairman Valeriy Baranov instructed the regional commissar to consider forming a battalion of forced migrants from Donbas.
Baranov wrote on his Facebook page.
“Due to the fact that out of 5,726 forced migrants, adopted by our region, there are many persons of military age, I have instructed the military commissar David Moin to consider the possibility to register them for further medical examination and formation of the battalion,” the governor said.
To remind, Baranov’s decision coincides with the opinion of the majority of Cossacks, who believe that Donbas residents should also take part in the liberation of their territory from Russian invaders.
