Two pilots from Su-25 aircraft downed in eastern Ukraine on July 23 have not been taken prisoner.
Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) spokesman Andriy Lysenko said this at a briefing on Thursday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“Ukrainian pilots are not in captivity,” Lysenko said.
However, he did not mention their location for security reasons.
