President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during the Forum in Davos agreed on attracting about USD 1.5 billion of investments in Ukraine, deputy head of the Presidential Administration Valeriy Chaly told a briefing in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“At the meetings there was confirmed the desire of several world-class companies, which work with Ukraine, to invest up to USD 1.5 billion in our state in the near future even in these difficult financial and war conditions. This is a real sum of money, which will be invested in IT-technologies and agricultural business. I cite only a few examples, but there were much more agreements. The main thing is that there are world-class companies, which are ready to invest in Ukraine,” he said.
In particular, Chaly said that the Cargill international company announced the desire to expand its work in Ukraine.
