A draft law registered in the Verkhovna Rada, which envisages abolishment of additional pensions to MPs, government members, persons, who were awarded a title of “Merited.”

As it is said in the explanatory note, the aim of the project is “renewal of social justice and overcoming of discrimination in the sphere of pension provision.”
The draft law No. 1239 proposes to abolish additional pensions, envisaged by the law “On pensions for special merits to Ukraine,” to people’s deputies, government members, persons, who were awarded the title of “Merited.”
Authors of the document are seven independent MPs, Svoboda Party members, among whom Andriy Illienko, Oleh Osukhovsky and Yuriy Levchenko.
