Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said he hopes that a pro-European majority will be formed in Moldova, just as in Ukraine.
He said this at a press conference on Monday after the signing of a loan agreement between the European Investment Bank (EIB) and Ukraine, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“I congratulate our Moldovan colleagues on the fact that a pro-European majority will be formed in Moldova, just as in Ukraine,” Yatseniuk said.
He said that the elections in Bulgaria had also been won by a pro-European party of Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.
“This will enable us to work together on ensuring the energy security of the European Union, and I hope that South Stream will not bypass Ukraine,” he said.
