Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko was met in the U.S. Congress, where he started his speech, with a standing ovation that lasted several minutes, Ukrinform’s correspondent has reported.
Poroshenko’s first official visit to the United States began with talks with Secretary of State John Kerry.
The meeting was held at the U.S. Department of State.
