Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has announced the foreign ministers of the European Union countries who participated in a meeting of the EU Informal Group ”Friends of Ukraine” supported the extension of sanctions against Russia.
”There was a very informative meeting with the EU foreign ministers, as we had time to discuss security-related issues with very strong messages as for Ukraine, regarding support and further pressure on Russia,” Klimkin told journalists after the meeting in Brussels on Monday, May 15.
”All those who took part in this meeting clearly supported the continuation of consistent pressure and, of course, the extension of the sanctions,” he said.
