Ukraine includes video with Crimea landscapes in Eurovision 2017 promo clip. Video

A special promo video clip about Ukraine was released ahead of the Eurovision-2017 International Song Contest, titled ”Come to Ukraine to Celebrate Diversity.”

The video shows sights from Kyiv, Carpathian Mountains, and Crimean peninsula.

The musical theme is based on Shakira`s song featured in Zootropolis, with its adaptation performed by Nastya Bahinska, the finalist of the first season of Ukraine`s Voice Children contest.

Braty Hadyukiny project, that is Pavlo Krakhmalev and Ihor Melnichuk, came forward as sound producers.

Saying that the clip will be uploaded on various social networks on Friday, co-founder of Ukrainian Crisis Media Center Hennadiy Kurochka added: ”Unfortunately, we currently do not have the budget to broadcast the video abroad. We hope that we will see government support, and not only will internet users see the video but also the viewers of international TV channels. Perhaps we attract such media as CNN, BBC, Euronews, so that more people could see this video.”

As reported earlier, Kyiv will host the 62nd Eurovision International Song Contest in May of this year. The main arena will be the International Exhibition Center on the Dnipro River`s left bank.

Semifinals are scheduled for May 9 and May 11, while the final will be held on May 13.
