Ukraine in January-February 2017 imported oil products by $582.5 million, which is 72% more than in the same period last year, the State Fiscal Service reports.
According to the agency, imports of oil products from Belarus amounted to $285.1 million (48.9% of the cost of imports of oil products), from Russia – $158.2 million (27.1%), from Greece – $47.4 million (8.1%), and from other countries – $91.8 million.
Ukraine also imported crude oil and gas condensate by $52 million in January-February 2017, which is 58% more year-over-year (y-o-y). The main oil deliveries (73%) were made from Azerbaijan – $24.1 million, Kazakhstan (22%) – $11.4 million, Romania (2.6%) – $699,000, and from other countries – $774,000.
Earlier, Ukraine imported oil products by $282 million in January 2017, which is 63.8% more y-o-y.
According to the State Fiscal Service, in January 2017, Ukraine increased oil and gas condensate imports by 19.8% y-o-y, to $24.4 million.
