Reports about the resignation of National Bank Governor Valeria Gontareva are untrue, the NBU press service told UNIAN news agency responding to media reports claiming Ms Gontareva intended to leave post.
”Traditionally, the National Bank reports about the upcoming changes in the composition of the Board a month ahead. There was no such statement, and therefore, the information is not true,” as stated in a comment by the NBU press service.
According to the central bank, currently, all of the NBU Board members are on a tight schedule, working according to their plan.
