According to the verdict of the Regional Criminal Court in Vienna in the case of an extradition arrest of Ukrainian businessman Dmytro Firtash, the latter will remain in custody at the request of the Vienna prosecutor`s office.
Austrian prosecutors submitted to a court a motion to extend the Ukrainian businessman`s detention term under the U.S. extradition request.
Firtash will remain in custody until the court hands down a ruling on a possibility of his extradition to the U.S. This judgment is expected to be issued on Friday, February 24, according to Deutsche Welle.
Earlier today, the court in Vienna has refused to satisfy the motion of the Austrian prosecutors regarding the arrest of the Ukrainian businessman, Dmytro Firtash, on Spain`s extradition request.
