Ukraine`s Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danyliuk in the coming days will fly to Washington to hold talks with the International Monetary Fund on the allocation of the fourth loan tranche for Ukraine in the amount of $1 billion, a government source has told UNIAN news agency.
All the fundamental contradictions in the Ukraine-IMF memorandum have been resolved, the source said. Earlier, on February 17, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said that Ukraine was at the final stage of drafting a memo on further cooperation with the IMF.
In September 2016, after a more than a year`s break, Ukraine resumed cooperation with the IMF under a four-year Extended Fund Facility (EFF) worth $17.5 billion. Under the program, Ukraine has already received three IMF tranches totaling $7.62 billion.
