Combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 39 times in the past 24 hours, according to the press service of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters.
In the Mariupol sector, the militants used banned 120mm and 82mm mortars to attack the villages of Talakivka and Shyrokyne. The occupiers also fired grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms on the town of Maryinka, and the villages of Bohdanivka, Hnutove, Pavlopil, Vodiane, Shyrokyne, Novotroyitske, Talakivka and Starohnativka. Additionally, they opened fire from infantry fighting vehicles on Vodiane. Enemy snipers were active in Novotroyitske and Hnutove.
In the Donetsk sector, Russia`s hybrid military force fired rocket-propelled grenades and small arms on the village of Luhanske and the town of Avdiyivka.
In the Luhansk sector, the militants used the same types of weapons to shell the villages of Stanytsia Luhanska, Bohuslavske, Katerynivka, Stariy Aidar and Novozvanivka. Enemy infantry fighting vehicles repeatedly attacked the village of Novo-Oleksandrivka.
